So you literally read this exact topic on another post and decided “I’m going to make my own stupid post”
You're right. I should have searched first. I didn't see this posted earlier. Certainly didn't read this and just repost it.

I'm not, and I'm one of the biggest anti-ref guys on this site.

We aren't playing Alabama.

The last blatantly rigged NC was Bama "beating" UGA a few years ago. The laundry list of crap they got away with while making that comeback was another disgrace to the sport.

Before that it was OSU/Miami.

I expect the officiating to be fine.

Refs get paid off
Just saying, there's a lot of money to be made. Do you think a referee has never gotten a random call before a big game offering certain incentives?

I would hope the refs on the biggest stage in CFB wouldn’t intentionally look like idiots and blow calls.
Didn't seem to bother them in the Clemson-OSU game with that ridiculous targeting call and the bullshite overturned scoop-and-score call.

LSU has played disciplined football all year. There is no reason to worry. You should seek help for your anxiety, though. That can be debilitating.

You realize this phrase refers to last half hour before kick off? Not 60 hours before kick off

I always thought that "sharps" referred to big money bettors. No, I didn't realize that it specifically referred to last minute bets. My assumption was that OP was saying that there had been some large wagers placed on Clemson recently.

Great PAC-12 refs? Refs that have the most potential connections to Sports Books in Vegas.

A certain segment of every single fan base for every team, college or pro, thinks the refs are out to get their team. You can usually spot these fans by the tin foil wrapped around their ankles to deflect the radio waves the govt is shooting at them.

Dude, read the OP and not just the title. I'm not playing the refs are out to get us card. They're Pac-12 refs. Why would they?

I'm saying that there's big money to be made if Clemson covers. Whether or not LSU should be concerned about the fact most of the books are probably hoping we don't cover is debatable. I'm happy to have that discussion.

What's not debatable is that we have idiots on here who see a thread title and are so anxious to bash others so that they can feel better about themselves that they don't even attempt to understand the original point.

I suggest you re-read the OP. You completely missed the point as well.

I have to admit. You've got a point there.
