Only LSU, Tulane, La.Tech, Grambling and Southern should be 4 year schools.
Every other University/College in Louisiana should be coverted to a Junior College (Wih the town in the name) that offers Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees. (McNeese State JC at Lake Charles, Southeast Louisiana JC at Hammond, etc.......)

You’re paying too much attention to the casual panicans who always get loud after the first LSU baseball loss. Baseball ignorant fans are way too loud on this board. And they always get proven wrong when LSU loses to a local school, and get silent really fast when that same LSU team wins another natty.

Early season games are just used "to see who can do what when". It's about placing players in proper batting order, positions to be played (who plays where and when), who you can rely on from a pitching stand point, etc.
You want to win but you need to know who you can rely on at a given moment in the big games (SEC and various tournaments).
