And if this works, then maybe the administration can experiment with not playing the piped in music at the stadium so that the fans don't want to leave by halftime.

Has nothing to do with those fricking idiots. When we got Mike VI they threw a hissy fit over us having a tiger in a habitat at all. It's about treating a beautiful and incredibly unique animal, one that is a representative of our university, with the respect it's due.
Are you really this upset about him not being paraded around the stadium 7 times a year? He's outside in his habitat 365 days a year and you can get a better look at him there anyway than from your seats with your binoculars.

Amen to that; started a thread on it last year- $9million luxury crib and the adulation of millions for 6-7 workdays a year? Get in the cage!
Yeah, I know, PETA would have a conniption with the obvious solution of live bait...but Jeez, can't we at least try some other enticement? What about a rubber snake or rat dangled on a string? A wind-up toy piquing his natural curiosity?
What about Mike the Mascot trying to lure him in?
Hell, this could be a money-maker for TAF....cut a little trap door in the back of his cage, big enough to stick a person's head through, but obviously too small for Mike to crawl through. Auction off the rights to stick your head through the little door and taunt him with "HERE, KITTY KITTY KITTY..." until he charges and the door shuts behind him, then duck out when the big door slams behind him.
And, yes, I will volunteer to go first...I trust that the proximity of a 700 lb. tiger would hone my reflexes to razor-sharpness...
