IIRC, our hitting was usually shite under him at the beginning of the season (first 20 games or so) before rounding into form later. In short, not a whole lot different than the shite show that we are currently experiencing under CPM.
He parlayed those late surges into a job at MSU and promptly fricked it up with off field issues. I get wanting Paul gone, but I don't get the facination with Cannizaro.

FWIW, If he were hired, I would support the hire, but he surely wouldn't be at the top of the list for potential hires in my book.
