I would have agreed a couple of years ago. But the days of 9-6 or 10-3 games are gone. You need an offense that can score at will on anybody.

All it takes is a team like Ohio State using a slow, mythodical running game with the QB to beat us. They could keep the ball for 7-8 minutes at a time. This would leave our offense with no margin for error.

One or two punts by our offense, or one or two field goals instead of TDs would get us beat.

How people can't see this is beyond me.

This Defense is horrid.

When you are up a boat load teams play catch up and defenses will give up a lot of yards! I’m not concerned about this defense not one bit. The team they played last night were executing there plays well in the second half. Our defense will step up when it matters we were a little out of position in the second half that’s correctable! Guys were missing there key assignments I don’t expect that to happen again!

I think coach O let's go of Bill Johnson this off-season. He sucks pretty bad.

Who is LSU going to get that's better than Aranda?

Kevin Steele seems to have learned from his mistakes and become a much better defensive coordinator

Suddenly Aranda has forgotten how to coach.
It happens to all the great ones.
When Bear Bryant had a bad season, the "knowledgeable"
fans declared he had forgotten how to coach. He won a couple more national championships.
Now Saban is under attack by the same group of fans.
When Steele was our DC there many negative threads about his abilities. Now he is at Auburn and recovered his defensive acumen.
Aranda is in select company.

The defense has been a huge disappointment. They are often out of position and are bad at tackling.

10-0

Your right

Look, it's another "we scored more than the other team so nothing's wrong." fool who can't even use the right "you're."

You do realize this LSU offense is 90 percent of the reason LSU is 10-0? Just realize Clemson and Ohio State are complete teams that will shred this defense if improvement doesn't happen fast. That's why some of us are seething about the defense.

he was part of making Aranda the highest paid DC in football for starters.

He didn’t have much choice after being pushed into a corner.

Maybe we catch lightning in a bottle again and find Dave a "helper" like we found for Steve?

Talent isn't the main issue.

How is Mizzou playing on defense?

We’d be fools to can him and let the best recruiting class on paper we’ve ever had fall apart.

Give him one more season and then evaluate. LSU is 10-0. No one is on the hot seat
