It does make a lot of sense, which makes some of us nervous, but don't sell the appeal of Charlottesville & UVA short. PM was just interviewed and said something like "I wish I could talk Brian into succeeding me but he won't even entertain the thought." Said he and his wife love it there.

No doubt LSU is the biggest job in baseball so there's a good reason LSU fans should feel confident in their chances getting anyone they want. Obviously they could offer a ton of money - but so could UVA (there's no question we could match any offer; only question is whether we would).

Over the years Tony Bennett's name has been on virtually every list of high-profile openings in the nation, but he's not interested (I've actually been most worried about LSU because he's wife Laurel is from Baton Rouge, but they love Charlottesville).

Not saying it won't happen, just don't think it's automatic. Either way, I was much happier reading all of you reject the idea of BOC
