Not sure if I want to join in this thread with the directions it's currently headed... but...

Because we're not changing from I-formation to 5-wide and then back again each play, we don't have as many substitutions... which keeps the offense from rushing to the line of scrimmage.

The schizophrenia of our offensive packages and personnel put a lot of stress on both our QBs the past few years to get the new personnel in the huddle and to the line of scrimmage in a timely fashion.

I'm glad that seems to be over with. We have an identity on offense now. It's a pleasure to watch.

Dude, you're pathetic. You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it.

Quit hijacking this thread with your pointless posts.

This thread isn't about Jefferson versus Lee. It's about the improvement in the LSU offense that resulted from the change in OC.

No, you are just mad.

I know its not about JJvsJL
JJ is insignificant.

This offense is better bc of the coaching and the qb.
Get over it.

And let's be honest...when we say change in the OC, what we really are saying is no more arguing between the HC and the OC as our offense stands on the field with their thumbs up their arse begging for a play to be called in while the play clock winds down.

That, plus a trimmed down simplified offense and what you've got is the 2011 LSU offense. So far...much easier to watch.

Dude, it's a message board. I don't get mad about a message board.

Then why do you keep bringing it up? Are you afraid that Lee reads this board and would be disappointed in you if you don't? Come on now, little fella, be secure in your Lee Love.

Now haul your little arse out of this thread. You've fricked it up enough.

Here's a suggestion. Why don't you write another Lee Love Letter telling him how proud you are of him and what a devoted little toad you've been.

Go on now. You don't want Lee to start doubting your devotion.

If I started a thread about the elliptical nature of footballs, would you still suck Lee's dick in the thread?

It is not about Lee with them. It is about Jefferson. They have never given JJ once ounce of credit for anything. It is not in their DNA to do so. JL and JJ could play identical games and they would grade JL an A and JJ an F. It is just who they are. They do not feel JJ has the "necessities" to play QB for LSU.

For whatever the reasons might be, it's nice to see two games with 40+ points next to our team!???

Im not sure if I ever even mentioned JJ's name in this thread.
But if patting Lee on the back equals hating JJ... have at it I suppose.

Damn. Well at least the thread went 3.5 pages before someone dropped the card bomb.

nah.. for me its about Lee.
Proud of the dude. Expect him to get better each game. Wanted him to get another shot and he is getting it.
Sorry if that fricks up your little world/pos agenda, but its the truth.

I agree with most post on the play calling. Would we still see that ugly option to the short side of the field if JJ were not suspended? I do have a question about the play calling. Did any of you notice if we tend to pass more with Ware in the game than with Ford? IMO- Auburn picked up on that with Lee and Jefferson and came after Lee hard, knowing there would be a greater chance we pass than run.

it's all about Lee with you. Nobody else on the team or coaching staff gets any credit... That may be why your posts are hard to read a lot of the time.

I don't understand why you can't give the coaching staff credit for simplifying and making the formations, packages and personnel more consistent, allowing the offenses to have more of a flow.

I like the fact that we're not so sporadic with our formations...

last year was I-formation, 5-wide, pro set in shotgun in three consecutive plays way too often.

We seemed to have chosen an offensive identity and are going with it, rather than trying to be 8 different offenses all at once.
A lot of good points in the thread. I like this one the best.

Call it what you may. But you cannot call it untrue. What was untrue about the statement? Find me one post where either has ever given JJ any credit whatsoever. Would you agree intelligence is a "necessity" of a QB? The ability to read a defense? What is the basis of claiming JL is more intelligent than JJ? When has that been exibited on the field of play? Do either have their IQ or GPA?

So if speaking the truth is dropping the card bomb, then so be it. But what do you call it when others always claim the dropping of the card bomb? playing the calling of the card bomb card? Well you just played it.
