You know that beating your head against the same ole skillet is fun, really it is. Do you really need to go to see how it will play out. OK,we will start slow, give up a bunch of yards, stiffen in the red-zone-give up some field goals, some good goal line stuffs for the D-Yeah=some hope. We play the Rockettes on offense..1,2,3--kick.1,2,3-kick. Lots of misscomunication on routes/QB and 1yrd/cloud of dust and/or mud.Lots of QB sacks for us,their QB's are drinking cocktails on the sideline. We run Trindon(predictably, that is--he's in the game, right). We decide we might better play at the start of the forth, but our D's tongue's are all hanging out, because they are practically playing both ways. We end the game hoping the other teams kicker isn't worth a shite, and the refs don't make a shitty call. Then, flip a coin,to see if we win. Print this out,it'll save you some money. Oh,and option to the short-side.

No offense to any of you but i watched some of yalls games this year and i noticed that around the third quarter of some of the games there were many open seats in the stadium. why would they leave?
Some fans were sober enough to realize they were not being entertained.

But I thought entertainment had nothing to do with it. People don't watch sports to be entertained. They MUST watch because it's their school. If you don't stay and force yourself to be bored to death, you're a shitty fan.

The only game I was bored at this season was the LA Tech game. So yeah, you might be a shitty fan.

Dude, I only made like 4 games this year. Does being poor as shite make me a shitty fan?
Edit: i made 4 games

I bet most of the whiners on here don't even attend the games and probably never been on campus. It is just easy to complain when you are watchin the game on your 12" black and white in your trailer and they lose.

Well I'm glad to see THE REAL fanbase loves being laughed at on National TV. Loves being average, that's real nice and uplifting.

Apparently there is some magically drunk group of thousands of LSU fans that will never EVER abondon thier team, EVER. But none of this massive group of diehards has ever been to an LSU game, nor will the man ever allow those poor bastards to attend. Only people that hate LSU and don't want to be there go to games. Duh.
Good sarcasm there Dan. But the issue here is the stadium not being as loud or as intimidating and the fans that leave early, i.e. the butts in the high dollar (gold, centerfield) seats. I for one have NEVER left a game early, granted I only make 2-3 a year and only drive 2 1/2 hours to get there. But, don't you think it's obvious that the place lacks its appeal from some years ago? In reality LSU is in a no win situation with this issue. Get rid of the 'fatcats' that sip those martinis and fill the stadium up with the hollaring drunks, but in the process obvious lose some valuable donations that make the elite level facilities at LSU possible. So, what do you do?
As for me, I love LSU to win but there is nothing like a night in tiger stadium when I leave so hoarse I can't talk for several days. I say that LSU will still be competitive without the money. Just not as consistent.

Please back this post up with some kind of proof. Choose any post(s) you can find anywhere on TD.

Pointing out the obvious doesn't make you a bad fan. Saying you will no longer support LSU because they are losing makes you a bad fan.
Griping is part of being a fan. The human being comes out, we all get upset.
Accepting mediocrity is subjective but its not limited to the LSU fanbase, nor is not accepting mediocrity. Ohio St. could have accepted good seasons but no Big Ten titles and they may still have John Cooper.

Yay, settling for a mediocre product is fun!

Seriously dude? The same people that loved average Brady and Smoke are the same people with the Les is great crap. They're just as many we love Les post as fire Les post, but there is a ton of the program is OK posts on here. And for you REAL fans bitching about being average doesn't make you a bad fan or bandwagon fan. I lived in Liberty MS growing up and would have to sneak a walkman in my bedroom to finish listening to the games in the late 80's and 90's because my Dad would turn the game off. So all you miles lovers and being average is ok figs don't call us bandwagon or rantards because we like to win and remember the bad and I mean very bad days.

What a lot of you dont seem to understand is what makes a bandwagon fan. LSU is one of the few great things in the state that most people are raised to love and noone on this board is a bandwagoner. Most of the empty seats do come from bandwagon fans. A LOT of those gold seats are bought up by the big boosters in excess of 20+ and they give their tickets away to clients or friends who have little interest in LSU other than the entertainment.

If you passionate fans then leave your snot nose kids, wives, girlfriends and any man who wears the color pink out side the gates. Because I see little kids screwing off wasting a seat, women leaving every 5 min to the bathroom or to get a drink and faggety guys wearing light purple dress shirts and dockers going to the game to socialize rather than cheer! That's the reson it isn't loud as it used to be and the fact the product is sub-par helps out!

Dude
I thought 9 WIns & 3 Losses was a good season. What a dummy I must be.
I can't believe what a rotten bunch of apes we have become when not winning the BCS is end of the world, and our coaches are all idiots talk abounds.
Personally I love our school, our team, and will never become an ape.

And the 4 losses came against the only 4 good teams LSU played all season. Padding a win total against the like of Tulane, ULL, La Tech and Washington isn't impressive.
