It's funny how quiet this board gets with a good series

Sure, this weekend may have been a fluke at the plate for us. But, MSU came in with a pretty staunch 1-2 in its weekend rotation and we were great at the plate all weekend.
A series win against Arkansas next week and we are back in the national seed hunt.

Not trying to be a negatiger, cause I was thoroughly impressed with this weekend's performance. Today's game was an offensive explosion. But the 2 days before that we had a combined total of 5 runs on 12 hits. That's on the pitching for being lights out and getting us those 2 Ws. Not horrible considering the pitching we were facing, but I'd like to see us get more consistent.

One of them was hurt but its great to sweep. The board will never be quiet when LSU plays like they played last weekend.

Hard for the negative guys to say much when the White team puts 40 plus up and baseball puts 30 plus up for the week and sweeps the # 10 in the nation!

If you're looking for a fight....I'll bite. It was only one series....at home......with our backs kinda against the wall....natiives have been restless lately......they finally played up to their potential today but mustered only 5 runs/12 hits in the first two...albeit with 2 stellar pitching gems. I'm saying the jury still out.
We need to win on the road.....period. Still gotta a long way to go.

This board lives on negativity, even when LSU wins big in football there is still stuff people complain about, there is very little to complain about this weekend so people aren't saying anything. Plus everyone is talking about that meaningless scrimmage that happened up the road from the important series.
