I assume that Miles wants to win as well and feels that JJ gives the team the best chance. If Miles knew that JJ was not better for the team as a whole why would he play him?

Does he have any less incentive to win(and get more money and fame) than you as a fan?

love LSU but I'm a sad Tiger fan. Don't be blinded by the wins. LSU was a much more complete team with JL under center.

It must be killing you that we're 13-0 and heading to the national championship

Rewatching the game and it seems so strange now,

Lee earned the start, besides, had Les not played Lee at all this place would have rioted that we only scored 9 points.

Before the season started, did you see any media talk about JL? They said how well LSU does this season depends on the performance of JJ; JL was not even in the picture. Also, how do you know that JJ would not have done as well or better in the games that JL played in?

Well, good thing is LSU only has one more game before this QB controversy is over (hopefully).

I know what you mean, dude.

Yep, never seen two mediocre players divide a fan base this way. Don't think for a second it will not happen again in the next couple of years though. It will.

If one of these guys were clearly better than the other, I may could see the outrageous loyalty. I hope both play well and do something decent in their final game. If not, both appear to be going out they same way they came in.

JJ is well suited for Alabama as an every down player. JL is not. However, JL has been used in the past for BIG time situations against Ala. (see end of 2010 game in Baton Rouge for reference) and I'm sure he will be ready one more time if needed.

Caveat: Look for JL to get a full series in and take us down the field for a TD or momentum changer. Karma tells me he will play and play well no matter how many snaps. Let it happen. There is no NEXT this time only 'Bama!

This is exactly what I don't get with the bias threads on here. It is not like Les is benching Manning to play JJ or JL. Each has their own set of weaknesses.

I do believe that Miles has a higher incentive to win than anyone on the rant or media and if he, as the coach, feels that JJ is the right person to get it then that is that.

im glad lee hasnt come in every 3rd series. Not because i dont like em, but if JJ is going to be the starter then you have to let him settle. Thats been the diff this year. when jj was back, but didnt start, he rarely threw the ball. The qb has to find his rythm.

why does everyone act like one pass that was all randles doing won us the fricking game against bama in 10? it didnt. it was one play of many that was executed.

Plays that result in changes in scoreboard are given higher gravitas - makes fans feel like they didn't waste time watching that drive

There are very many great plays that go unnoticed by the DL or OL if it is not a sack or pancake but a WR jumping up for a catch is always noticed as is an INT by the DB.

Building on your question - why is it that everyone acts like on player (qb) wins the game for us. So far in this season , using absolutes
D is 90
ST is 90
O is around 70
QBs are around 40.

Does it really matter if QB1 |41| or QB2 |44| is playing, when the supporting cast is what lifts them up?

No, I wouldn't moan about that but I will continue to moan about the double standard between JJ and JL from Miles. If JL had the half that JJ had in the SEC Championship he would have been pulled after the second 3 and out. You are a class act telling someone to stfu...how old are you 12?

I'm happy we are 13-0, I'm really happy for the team. Just disappointed in the way JL has been treated. I'm not saying JL should be taking every snap, just saying a kid that won 8 games because JJ can't keep his nose clean off the field and everyone is just fine throwing JL under the bus. Fortunately LSU's Team is so good they could win with just about anyone under center.
