over the last 9 years, several other coaches at lesser programs have won more so, it's not really "absurd"

There are nine, considering he's #10 on the all time list in terms of wins.

oh good grief i wish i could understand why anyone thinks this means anything

Actually it means you are one of the top eight teams in America, which is quite an accomplishment.

that number isn't quite as impressive as people think when it's compared to everyone else

Who is "everyone else"? Are they among top ten winningest coaches of all time?

You really shouldn't engage him. He's intellectually dishonest.

He isn’t getting fired unless he fails to make a regional next year. Even then it would surprise me.

miles won a TON of games in the toughest division of the toughest conference. should he have been asked to leave?

silly. it's not an "accomplishment" at all. it's the equivalent of bball tourney seedings. it's a subjective estimation made by a group of people in a sport that has a playoff. playoff wins are what really count. no uk fans judge cal by the number of times he's been a top 4 seed.

If he's back next season, a NEW strength and conditioning coordinator is a must. To many injuries, players with soreness, etc.
I always thought this train of throughly was dumb. How about you let him run his program and then fire or extend him. Micromanaging isn’t my style.
