No screw all that. Y’all said he’d never hit close to .250.

He has 27 AB and has faced like 3 starters.

We also said he shouldn’t start over Neal. And we were right

I will hat tip Milazzo all day long like I have been. Regardless of the quality of pitching he has faced, I did not think he would even be able to hit those guys like he has.

He's due some regression (.478 avg on balls in play::: career is .263) but should still finish above where i pegged him.

All that said, I am glad he is hitting well but i am also glad he is only a defensive replacement

Easily the best bunter on the team. Showed some speed rounding 3rd last night.

Saw him go yard at Minute Maid in '20 vs Baylor. Glad he's improved at the plate.

I love Milazzos approach this year. I still think travinski needs more ABs moving forward. Swing looks solid in limited appearances

hasn’t been hitting against top line pitchers.

True, although still much improved.

Also by the same token he is not catching the best pitchers which makes his defensive abilities in late game situations all that more punctuated.

Followed by nothing but criticism.

You will never admit you were wrong, without explaining to us how you weren't really wrong.

I know this was meant as a joke but it is a bad one. Dugas was a beast just 2 seasons ago before his injuries and by the time he came back vs So Miss, he crushed the ball.

Oh boy. Neal is hitting 230. 5 XBH on the year. Same 9 RBI as Milazzo. But Neal gives us a professional at bat. What ??? Strikeout rate nearly 30 percent.

It’s clear Neal was promised the starting job at signing as that 230 avg is against the number 122 preseason schedule and just a few sec series. I don’t think that 230 is going up anytime soon.

Milazzo has started 5 games all year and otherwise he’s facing the 4th bullpen arm in a blowout.

Neal has already hit 3x as many home runs as Milazzo has in his career.

Milazzo’s BA would plummet if he started.

He’s have to go 0-20 to fall to Neal’s level.

So 2 SEC weekends?

It’s not just that Neal hits against better pitchers he also doesn’t get to pad his stats vs Grambling.

You and Lester Earl are the same. Your minds were both made up a month before the season. If I would have told you Milazzo would be hitting .400 right now, you would have called me a fool before the season started. Now that he is, you are trying to minimize it by saying he only plays in blowouts, which isn't true. The bar is constantly moving to fit your pre convinced opinions.
