It's amazing what a good coach can do for a struggling QB

FSU QB is dealing with all kinds of pocket pressure from Ole Miss in the first half. So what does Jimbo do? He makes adjustments and finds ways to let his QB succeed. He starts to do some short, quick passes. He starts to let him run. He starts to roll him out to avoid the pressure. HE LETS HIM GET INTO A RHYTHM. Oh and by the way, he's a freshman making his first collegiate start.

This is something that Leslie simply cannot comprehend. How can he expect Harris to get himself into a rhythm if we run on first and second down, and only give him a chance on third and long? It does not matter who the QB is in this offense. It is a flawed system where the quarterback is practically set up to fail.

The most disturbing thing about all of this, Les seems to be completely oblivious to, or refuses to acknowledge, the fact that we have no passing game. "We need to run the ball better. We passed the ball well."

This style of football just doesn't work anymore. The game has passed him by.

Red shirt frosh with a bad wheel and he's carving up a team that'll probably hold lsu under 20.

You have to think that if he is doing this to Ole Miss he can do it to everybody else in the ACC

Les has always wanted to be the master of his own scheme. It is the reason why we have never had a really good offense besides when we had crowton. But crowton wanted to do too much of his own stuff and Les said screw that and let him go. All of the darkness has come to light, and everything that has ever been hidden has been told from the end of last season to this point. Its crazy

LSU system requires minimum 3 years to grasp.

Pumpers have assured me that young QBs can never succeed esp against SEC defenses.

I can only dream of how fun LSU football would be to watch if it were like this game, either team would do at this point.

I hate our offense.

For the love of God, please let this be the last year of this man.

He's doing it vs a very good defense, as well.

Jimbo could make one of our Aussie punters into a better QB than our coaches could make our QBs.

Since this is game 1 of the season, OM will have statistically one of the worst defenses in the country. Technically speaking.

Funniest part is that we have the worst pro style offense I have ever seen. I wasn't around back then, but I bet this shite was cutting edge back in the 60s. Thing is, it's been half a century since then, and this old fool hasn't seen the light.

Watch Michigan vs lowly Hawaii. You think they played that game vanilla? Hell no. Harbaugh's pro style had elements of the spread and he had 3 QBs play in that game, and all of them threw several passes.

LSU is still one of the only teams, hell we might be the only one, that doesn't run at least a 3 WR base offense. He has no misdirection in his running, and utilizes 2 WR, long developing routes when his offensive line couldn't block blankets.

It's miserable watching LSU on offense.

The FSU qb would never see the field at LSU. He's just a freshman. And we'd never know any better. Well, the charade is over.

a struggling QB is different than non existent. Harris couldn't hit a barn door 5 yards out.
