I hit the panic button when JJ was hired. I saw his teams play at North Texas...totally relying on athleticism and uptempo pace to win games... and he did win a few "games" but will NEVER win a championship of any kind with his philosophy (if you want to call it that)

Look man, I'm not going to sit here and Bash you like everyone else but this game is the icing on the Johnny Jones cake
Forget for a moment that this team cannot shoot the basketball consistently. They don't run any semblance of an offense....., they are lazy and sloppy on the defensive end.... they don't understand the fundamentals of basketball because they aren't coached. You can't just spring up the cord and fast break every possession. This isn't the 1996 UNLV Runnin Rebels. It's especially hard to get out and run when you can't stop the other team from making shots. I wanted to be so very different from the way it is. But year after year this team is unprepared undisciplined and poorly coached.
His Saving Grace has been he has had some really good players 2 bail him out much of the time
