I hope you're correct. What have you seen that makes you say this for certain?

Pulling that kid away from his home and getting him out of his comfort zone is incredible. I hope it translates to the field.

So now it's gone from positive to on field accomplishments. Why don't you move the goalposts.
Wow. Do you forget to breathe sometimes? I'm sure O has won the trophy of your heart as a swell guy, but try your best to act like an adult.

Look I don't care for O and I like him even less as LSU head coach but he's who we have and he's making the right moves as far as I can see. Unlike you, however, I can get past my personal feelings and move forward.

Again, what are these? And yes, we mean on the field. Try not performing at work but then tell your boss all about your accomplishments as a nice guy. That's asinine.

Get over this emotional response. Using logic and asking what we are getting with O has nothing to do with personal feelings and getting over things.

This morning's discussion has been completely based in fact and the questions asked were all about on field results. I'm not sure where your getting this personal feelings stuff from.

bullshite. The other poster can't stand O and that's obvious. Any way you slice it that's personal. If it's just on field results you should be thrilled with the 9 and 4 season considering how the season started and the conflict between Canada and other coaches.

I'm not pleased with three very bad losses with top 10 talent no matter how you slice it. LSU football is better than that. Fans should demand and expect better than that.

You are such a hysterical little girl. Jesus Christ. Do you have big boy job?

Thanks for the words of wisdom Derrick! Now go get O some coffee and boudin.

Do you honestly think this is all it is? Damn you are simple

You bash O in every thread you can and have been all along but I'm hysterical. You can't make this shite up. You're an insufferable kunt that doesn't have an ounce of objectivity yet you call other's immature.

Miles fixed the offense this year for sure! He said so...and this 5th OC is the one!

I've got the ND loss as a bad one too. A first round talent RB on the goal line, little time remaining and the opposing offense just went right down the field with little resistance. If you don't make it, the ball is inside the 3 yard line and it forces them to be conservative most likely and you're playing percentages at the point. If you don't make it, you still have the Aranda defense argument.
In the interim year, O built his campaign on "go, go, go, pedal to the metal" and you would think he would do that in an exhibition game. At least that's my opinion on the game.

Well he is going into year 3 (I'm counting the 9 games after he took over from Les) so how many years does he need?

Nobody is thrilled with those losses but learn from it and put it behind you. I was impressed with how they pulled it together and had a winning season in spite of the stinging, embarrassing losses. Not to mention the situation with Canada. Early in the season there was a disconnect between players and coaches, Canada in particular, the players either weren't or couldn't buy into the system. Was it lack of communication or was Canada's system too complicated or just difficult to learn. I don't know but they weren't getting it. This is where the conflict came from. The kids weren't picking up the offense.

You were impressed with a winning season? See, this is the root of the problem. Everyone knows that we hired a shitty coach, but some are willing to drop expectations down low enough so that he can actually meet him.
If you told me two years ago fans would just be happy with winning seasons I would have told you that you were nuts.

Yeah I don't blame orgeron. It's all Canada's fault for hiring himself.

Damned right I was impressed. Considering the embarrassing losses early this team could've mailed it in and stopped fighting. This doesn't have a damned thing to do with expectations. It's the reality of the situation at hand. Everyone should be proud that those kids dug deep and ended up with a respectable season. Not a great season but respectable.

What difference does it make. He was a mistake and he's gone. Why dwell on it?
