Wow, you take your O seriously!

Who’s throwing a tantrum now?

Look, if the truth about O hurts your feelings that much, you should step away. I won’t stop proving my opinion. That’s what this board is for. Go cry to an admin like a little girl, if you want.

All O has to do to shut me up is act contrary to his past history. I’ll be waiting.

Aranda is a professional who is a colleague of E. Do you really think he would be openly honest? This is stupid.

That would be yet another opinion. Btw, the excuse thrown around here for Canada being hired is that Aranda liked him. So, that speculation can work both ways.

O accomplished solid things at USC on the field as HC.
Ask Trojan fans if they wanted him to get the job.
LSU's loss to Troy was with a thin team depleted at DL and OL. A ton of inexperience at that time, too. I'm not intending this to be excuses but pointing out fact.
The loss can be hinged and poor player performance more than coaching.
The regrouping of the team since that point was an amazing accomplishment. We beat ND if Donte doesn't make a bone headed play at the end of that game. That win would have you singing LSU's praises right now.
O's gluing together a team that failed under Miles 2 years ago was an accomplishment as well. Inserting Enslinger to OC saw this team break Offensive records seemingly each week then. How did Les and Cammy do with that same talent?
Face it you O bashers are like Obama/Hillary lovers. You can't see anything positive because you're so negative.
Try enjoying life every so often. Smile once in a while.

Like losing to their less talented rival. That’s certainly a skill that he’s brought to LSU.

I would love for him to prove me wrong.

But he won’t. You don’t get something for nothing in this world.

But it would make such a wonderful Cinderella story, wouldn’t it?

Just simply list the on field accomplishments

So now it's gone from positive to on field accomplishments. Why don't you move the goalposts.

LSU won 8 games in 2016 if I'm not mistaken. O was interim coach for part of that.

LSU won 9 games last year. After the wheels came off early in the season I think O did a great job pulling it all back together and winning 9 games going 6&2 in the SEC. Like it or not both of those seasons were difficult and LSU still came out with a winning record. This year the table is set. I'm thinking 10 or 11 wins.

No one can refute that fact and I've sung his praises over and over on that so much so that I've been called an O lover on more than one occasion. Wouldn't it be nice though if they played like that from the get go?

IMO, that was more on the FG, instead of going for the TD, but it's just speculation. No one knows.

That was against shitty teams, but impressive nonetheless. It was something the previous staff couldn't do. Let's see what happens without Guice and Fournette back there as those records were by and large based on rushing offense.

There's a HUGE difference between being skeptical and objective and being negative. You won't find me saying anything about doom and gloom or that we are going to lose for sure or can't win.

agree

it's early for you to be posting something I agree with

I really think this team is going to blow up Miami but

you have to see it - 3-0 baby - you got to see it to believe it!

It was a very silly statement. I don't care if Kaitlyn Jenner and Johnny Weir are coaching if LSU wins games and competes for titles.

Glad you didn't hold to your statement of not posting until the game Cliff. I need your optimism to carry me through to the season.

IMO, it was past time to fire Les. I appreciate the 10 win seasons and the championships, but the game had passed him by unfortunately.

Bingo. Having said that Coach Orgeron has assembled an impressive staff of assistant coaches. His success in getting Joe Burrow blew me out of the water and convinced me this LSU team has what it takes to go all the way. A lot of talent on this team. I'm thinking this is going to be a fun LSU team to watch. September 1, 2018 Jerry World.....be there!!
