Why should O be given a chance, Les wasn’t given one. People disliked him from the time they heard he’d been hired, until he was fired. Coach O is a good line coach, but he really sucks as the head man. Not to worry, it will all wash out soon enough.

I HOPE O gets it done, but you can't blame folks for being highly skeptical. The loss to Troy was unacceptable, and you know it! That loss to Notre Dame was pretty awful too.

He already took a team with a flawed roster and a below avgbQB. And won 6 SEC games with a 3 home 5 road schedule. Roster is in much better shape. Very tough schedule.

Wasn't like his only HC offer post-Ole Miss from Syracuse or some irrelevant D1 football program to that effect? In addition to all the superior alternatives available to Alleva at the time, I really can't blame the loyal LSU supporters for their skepticism, we should always expect the best at all levels and hiring O as full-time contractually-salaried HC, when he's never done much to justify it from a full-time perspective, logically falls short, is what it is.

He won 6 SEC games. With a 3 home 5 road schedule. With a very flawed roster and a weak QB. Completely turned season around at Florida and Home against Auburn. If Donte Jackson can remember how to tackle we would have been 10 and 3

That's absolutely right. At this point all we have is HOPE. We HOPE Aranda and Ensminger and Burrow lead the way and give us something to be excited about.

Yes, it is almost unfathomable the reality we find ourselves in. Getting Burrow brought me more hope, but I'm still not sure what Ensminger will give us.
