I'm being a fan by wanting that woman-beating conman away from LSU.

Why is this a daily thread topic?

The admins need to just sticky two threads right now:
1) Sunshine pumping for Orgeron
2) Criticizing Orgeron thread

Honorable mention:
“Who will wear number 18?”
“Fire Joe Alleva”
“Bring back Neck”
“Starting lineup predictions”
“LSU football uniform suggestions”

"pristine white guy?" Couldn't get more "pristine white guy" than Les Miles I suppose. WTH does the OP even mean by that characterization?

O's HC record is very bad thus criticism and wariness of him are justified.

We just need to win at least 10 regular season games 2-3 years in a row for O to begin to get the benefit of the doubt.

I would love it if he proves all doubters wrong, including myself, but this one line has to be one of if not the single most retarded thing ever typed on this site and that is saying something.

LSU hired a coach that was the absolutely worst head coach in that schools history. To say, no worthy coach would come coach at LSU is a complete farse. Alleva was not willing to pay for any top notch coach. Kinda of funny how jimbo’s said he wasn’t leaving FSU but 70 million said other wise. Jimbo not worth 70 million in IMHO. CEO is a great assistant coach I would take him over anyone else. He’s just not head coach material and is pretty much continuing to prove it with the Canada hire and firing, forcing someone who really didn’t want the OC position and make him take it. I will hold back criticism the new OC until I see his offense.

What makes you think he will prove everyone wrong though? What evidence points to this happening? I hope he does but I just don't see any evidence that points to this happening.

Meh, I actually think he was happy with what Ensminger had done in 2016. However, he had made a promise to go out and hire the best OC.

Kiffin fell through so he found someone who put up sexy numbers. Unfortunately, I don’t think he realized that Canada wasn’t going to fit the style of offense he wanted to run.

2018 will be very telling, IMO.

You're right. It will be great when he wins the games he should win. Totally agree.

No millenial here. Also I was in support of Miles longer than anyone I know. It was time to go for Lester but if O is your guy shouldve kept les for same results....actually now looking like Les wouldve had better results . Shouldve just kept Les if the plan was to hire O. What dont you get about this??

You honestly believe no one better than O wanted this job? You are naive at best but clueless most likely.

When this season is over a lot of people are going to look pretty silly.

In other words, pretty much like every year.

I think he can; has a great DC, far better with clock management, and knows when to call a freaking timeout. Les ran the same Offense! He would never even consider changing our playing style and adapting.

I really don't think anyone "hates" O at this point.
His history suggests he's a (very) bad head coach. If you're honest with yourself, his trajectory shows he isn't going to do too much better here.

Joe Burrow is his biggest accomplishment to date. And that's not even a proven accomplishment.
His failures (in one year) include the lowest recruiting ranking in 15 years, the first OOC home loss in nearly 20 years, and horrendous mismanagement of the OC position.

I'll love it as much as any LSU fan if he beats Bama, wins the West, and competes for championships, but up to this point he's done nothing to prove he's capable of that.

Until then I'll daydream of having a coach who has a record more conducive to reaching such goals.
