everyone saying game plan, but whenever LEE messed up is was becuase he wasn't good (threw off back foot, got happy feet in pocket, couldn't allude the rush). Well last night I saw JJ fumbling snaps, throwing in the dirt, throwing high, throwing to far to one side or the other, and his interception
.
Anyway why should it be different for one QB than the other QB, TEAM JEFFERSWAG trying to spin it all ways but the correct way JJ stunk up the joint last night and no offensive gameplan would have helped him.

As stubborn as Miles was, John Chavis wasn’t exactly thinking outside of the box real quickly or effectively, either, when McCarron came out and started dissecting the Tigers’ defense.
Chavis knew that if he adjusted too much for McCarron's passing, that he would fall into Saban's trap and Richardson would run wild. Pitiful situation that LSU had nothing but an extremely poorly executed option play as an alternative to its power run game.

Bend but don't break. It worked for all practical purposes, the offense and ST's didn't do their part for this game. The game was well within reach for the offense until late.

I agree the defense played its heart out but when you're on the field that much anyone can and will get tired.
wing got tired of punting and hit some bad ones at the end and richardsons run was at the end when the defense wad tired.

JJ cannot pass under pressure.........never has been able to.
We faced the best D twice and the second time he could not run....we were screwed after that.
JJ or JL
would not have mattered

I just watched the GIF of the "shovel pass" on Page 1 and after vomiting, I just realized something...
Even if Ware is ready for it, the pitch wasn't even close! It wasn't even an accurate shovel-pitch-pass!
frick!

Bama planned to throw the ball. Saban look at the film saw what he did the first time didn't work and saw where West Virginia threw that underneath stuff all night. Les decided not to changed anything

It was both, JJ was totally ineffective at any skill to be displayed by a D1 QB. He was totally inept as a leader, and continuously looked dazed and confused while displaying blame on teammates. I will give you that the gameplan was absolutely horrendous.

Repeatedly fumble the snap from center???????
Are you kidding??? Did you see the exchanges on those????? 2 of them skirted the ground all the way back by an inch...

JJ has been playing the exact same way since he has come on campus. Doesn't matter if the game plan was good or bad, bottom line JJ is limited with skills and never was a SEC QB.

I said this in another post, they played the worst game of the season and it had to happen in the biggest of games.
You need go further with this one.....
There has never been a football team, in the history of college football, show up in the championship game flatter, with a worse gameplan on offense, as poorly prepared, and play as poorly offensively than the 2011 LSU Tigers in the BCSNCG.

It was part JJ, part O line, part game plan and a big part of Bama playing a perfect game.
I think that's it in a nutshell, but I'd change the order a bit:
1. Bama playing a perfect game—credit where credit is due
2. Doomed-to-failure game plan
3. O-line dominated
4. No offensive traction with Jefferson (the first 3 points didn't help him a bit)

It was not JJ stupid,
It was the offensive game plan that sucked
The offensive game plan didn't panic and run... it didn't misread on the option EVERY TIME... it didn't fumble the ball and throw the worst pick in the history of the BCS championship... didn't say it played great and everyone else sucked....
Do I need to continue?

JJ was mostly responsible for the problems on the field, and Les was responsible for keeping him there.
Posted on 1/11/12 at 11:13 am to CalTiger53
Yeah I'm sure that asked him to fumble, and throw interceptions, and skip balls to open receivers, and never look in the direction of open receivers, and hold the ball for a sack instead of letting it fly and giving someone a chance. Your right he played great if that is what they asked of him.

JJ Played poorly. So did the oline. And they picked on our nickel corners all day. It wasnt just JJ. I think some people on here could have called a better game as afar as play calling

And even if JJ was trying to guide Ware with the pitch (which we know he was too shell-shocked to think of or execute), it obviously would have run Ware right into the arms of the defender.
