Firing Wade was one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen in sports, and we are just beginning to suffer as fans because of it. The suffering is likely to continue for a long time unless the people responsible for the firing get serious about fixing the mess.

this. I have been saying this since day 1. Stupid move that set our program back tremendously, Woody's outlying horrible coaching decision among some great hires. Would love to see Wade come back, but Woody will have to eat some humble pie to get there.

McNeese has beaten VCU at VCU and UAB (which and lost 6 games at home in 8 years) in Birmingham. I’ll take McNeese any day of the week against the LSU team I saw last night.

LSU just had a terrible night at Syracuse. They earlier beat Wake Forest and N Texas and lost late v Dayton. Those three games trump McNeese and Wade's exploits so far this year.

Their starting forward, Christian Shumate, is a beast on the boards averaging about 11 a game. Had 20 versus UAB last night. Dude is only 6’6”.
