This past season has seemed to go by like a whirlwind. It just seemed to happen so fast. I mean we went from having a barely mediocre offense to one of the best offenses in College football History. Burrow, Brady, and Ensminger didn't give us no warning. Just went out there and blew everyone away. There was no gradual increase in offensive productivity. I fricking loved it, but never had time to take it all in. This week I haven't been able to sleep and been thinking a shite load about this last season and how special it was. Undefeated season against top quality opponents, greatest offense ever, and A Heisman winning quarterback. This team is too special to lose Monday, and if by some miracle they do I will always cherish this season. Just had to put this down as I am trying to sleep for work right now five days before the biggest game of my life as an LSU fan. I was a little too young to remember the magnitude of the 2003 title. Anyway sorry for the Rambling. Go Tigers.

Well...
quote:

“I think we’re going to score a lot of points, and I don’t think a lot of people are used to LSU scoring 40, 50, 60 points a game,” Burrow told The Advocate while attending the Manning Passing Academy. “I think if we do what we need to do up until fall camp and continue our hard work in fall camp, we can be one of the best offenses in the country.”

The most impressive thing about it is that all of the improvement took place in one offseason.

They gave us “warning” in the off-season. However, because of numerous past promises to change the offense that never came to fruition most took that “warning” with a very large grain of salt.

I can still remember laughing my arse off when I read this quote back in the summer. Thought it was typical delusional LSU speak we’ve been accustomed to for sooooooooo long.

Thank you Joe

Exactly also do you remember Brady saying to get your popcorn ready. He was saying sit back and watch the greatest offense you have ever seen at LSU

I definitely felt like we heard the same kind of stuff before the previous 2 seasons. Even in O's interim season he said they were going to be pedal to me metal and go, go, go then we saw the conservative shite for the next 2 seasons. It's been a complete turnaround in philosophy and it's really impressive.

Y'all are right. They did give us a warning, but years after stagnant offenses I was not one to believe it. Its just crazy seeing your team struggle offensively year after year with so many stud offensive players to suddenly blowing up offensively and having one of the greatest of all time.

C’mon man
Joseph told us in August that they were going to score 40, 50, 60 a game.
What part of this did you not understand?

Nothing like it has ever hit college football. Especially in one season.
setting records right and left.

I put that grain of salt down my shooting lane. The deer loved it.

Just shows you the ineptitude of the previous and current coaches. Gotta give them credit because they realized their antiquated ways and made a career making change.

fricking this.

I was numb to the false promises from the prior staff of “fixing the offense” then doing the same shite over and over again.

My reaction to the “new offense” this preseason was, “I’ll believe it when I see it.”
Well, I seent it!
