It seems that you have recently found this game we call football. Congrats, I hope you enjoy it. We need to work on your analysis of the games though. It doesn't matter how wide open a reciever is if the other teams DL is up your QB's arse. Also his first interception was the result of a poorly run route.
No need to thank me for the help, your welcome.

One loss does not doom our season. UF was jacked up and we didn't match the intensity early creating a hole we couldn't climb out of. However, we were exposed at QB with "Young" mistakes and defensively we have some issues.....think of this, we gave up points to Auburn, Miss. St. and 51 to Florida. Two of those three offenses are not good. We miss Pillini and his ability to make adjustments.

Most of the misses were not a result of the Florida defensive line pressuring our QB. The misses were a result of poor QB play. They were passes that any QB in the Big 12 would have completed. They were passes that most of the QB's in the country would have completed. Again, perhaps (and hopefully) JL can grow into an SEC caliber QB. He is not there yet.
Hopefully you have a broader understanding of the situation now. Perhaps you can participate in the next thread.

Florida played the best game they will play all year - no one would have beat them Saturday night.
LSU has too much inexperience at key positions (esp. against the Gators) that will just take time. The final score should really focus the coaches and the players. I'm not upset about it really. I just hope to see continued improvement week after week.

You do know that the Florida DL was that group of guys around our QB wearing the blue shirts, don't you? They weren't there to hug him.
If you really believe what you typed then I guess we can stop replying to each other now. It gets hard to argue with a person that doesn't admit facts.

My expectations for LSU this season was not to repeat as BCS NC.
Did and still do expect LSU to win the SEC West, but not the SEC. Just chalking this lopsided one up to the fact that Florida needed the game alot more than LSU. Gators are probably better than LSU right now, but not that much better.

However, since Saban and Muschamp left and we brought aboard Pelini and his two chimps, our defenses have been getting worse
Wow, I am sure you were saying that after we raped tOSU last year in the MNC game.

is UF that good or LSU worse than we thought?
I would say neither. shite changes week to week and as bad as that game was, it's never as good or as bad as it seems. We can bounce back from this and luckily we don't play another offense with UF's style and overall speed.
Remember how badly we beat VT last year (probably worse than UF just beat us) and they were that close to taking our spot in the BCS game by the end of the season.
UT last year went down to the swamp early in the season, got destroyed, and made it to Atlanta.
As bad as it was, it's too early to just give up all hope.

UF is not that great. Lsu's defese is putrid. It's going to get ugly, I'm afraid.

I agree with bullmoss and BamaScoop, but I have not read every post yet.
We played poorly--esp on defense. Lee played about as well as one would expect from a freshman QB.
BOTTOM LINE: this is not our year guys. I am going to cheer LSU on, as always. But I am expecting AT LEAST 2-3 more losses. That is, my expectations are now more in line with reality.
