Ok....we will agree to disagree. Bottom line is, he has everything you want for your punt returner. Ability to make you miss, hands and good enough speed to go the distance.

Now is he the fastest on the team no, but that does not make him any less outstanding.

Now is that better for some of you?? Jeez

He's not the fastest but he's had the best feet and agility on the team. Straight ankle breaker in the mold of Odell Cornelius. Got the best cut back ability.

4.5 is getting it for you and me. 4.5 is ho hum for a WR or CB. It's good speed but not considered elite. That said, top line speed is never indicative of a great kick returner...Bennie Brazell was never a punt returner and there were probably 10 people faster than Honey Badger when he was returning punts.

You have no idea what you're talking about. 4.52 is fricking flying. Running a legit 4.52 would put him in the top .1% of the human race. That's fast.

bullshite. Are you under the assumption that most wrs and cbs run in the 4.3's because they dont. While a 4.52 40 isn't world class speed it's fricking fast for a wr or cb. Not elite but fast.

all of 2 cbs ran a sub 4.44 40 at the 2015 combine. if TJ run a legit 4.52 now there is no reason he can't get to 4.45 with practice and direction on cutting down 40 time

Not fast! What are you talking about? Remember Morris Claiborne. Yes, 4.55 forty official laser timed at the NFL Combine. That was fast enough to be a stud in the SEC and also get drafted 1st round as a CB. People who say guys run 4.2s or in the 4.3s are prolly lying unless it's Deion sanders. You obviously don't realize what "fast" really is in college football.

There were 4 WRs that ran sub 4.40 last year at the combine. They are basically unicorns.

Right because I'm the only one disagreeing with you. Like I said all of 2 cbs ran faster than 4.44 at the 2015 combine and those players trained for months to cut 40 time. Get a clue bruh.if he runs a legit 4.52 electronic 40, he is flying. Is it world class? No , but it is damn fast.

Exactly. This notion that most nfl wrs and cbs run sub 4.4 40's is dumb as shite. A legit electronic timed 4.52 is fricking flying.

Why do you people argue over such trivial stuff. The 4.52 this kid ran was a hand held time. Also nobody said he was slow or that he should stop playing football since he is soooo pedestrian. All that some said was that this was not FAST! Very good but not fast. Fast, to me, is 4.4 or faster. You don't have to be fast to be an outstanding football player and I think some of you get that confused with those of us who disagree with your definition of fast. Also the fact the we may not see him as fast doesn't mean we think less of him.

The two best WRs ever at LSU we're not fast. Josh Reed and Wendell Davis.

Warrick Dunn & Kevin Franklin are just two growing up. Jonell Lights who ran a 10.2 hundred at Tara High. Two 4.45 guys in college. I could go on but that mean I'm giving too much time to people who again have never been around real speed.

Again, I NEVER SAID THE KID IS SLOW! Get a clue.

4.45 and 4.52 is very little difference. You likely wouldnt even be able to tell with the naked eye unless they ran side by side. 4.52 is REAL SPEED.

You started the argument saying 4.52 isn't fast. And it is.

Fast, to me, is 4.4 or faster

So only 2 cbs at the 2015 combine was fast? You do realize 99% of the nfl don't run fast than 4.4 right?
Whether you like it or not 4.52 at the combine is fricking flying. Anything less than 4.4 is world class speed. 4.52 is fast as hell.
But way to back pedal.
