Is This The Most Unified The Rant Has Been Since 2011?

I don’t recall seeing a more unified and positive atmosphere on this board since we were destroying teams throughout the 2011 regular season.

Winning has transitioned fringe Negatigers to Optitigers and Positigers and there is way more excitement than in recent years. There is far less shitting on coaches and players and it seems the overwhelming majority of posters are accepting that the football program is heading in the right direction.

I agree, I haven’t seen the LSU fan base like this in a while. Which is crazy, who woulda thought we’d be here even a year ago?

There was a shitton of bitching about the offense in both 2010 and 2011 despite lots of wins (many cardiac nail biters). JJ had few fans. All culminating in the disaster in NOLA for the title game.

So yeah, the wins were great but there was plenty of division and angst amongst the fan base.

What is different now is that Burrow has injected some electricity into the team. Coach O is a true blue coon arse who would take a bullet for LSU. Same with Ensminger. And they are playing to win and not sitting on leads. That UGA game was the most dominating LSU win over a highly ranked team in a long time.

And Aranda is straight money.

Take care of business this weekend and you've got one hell of a highly anticipated game in two weeks.

If you're not having fun, check your pulse.

Go pull up some of the threads from the first quarter of the Georgia game. It took exactly one Georgia possession and people were saying they had exposed Aranda.

I believe you.

Stuff like that is why I refuse to look at TD during games. Admins are genuines for putting thar shite in its own sandbox by way of the Scoreboard.

I've always been behind this football team. I just dislike how some people seem to support the head coach more than the team.

Sure, all the chatter is good for off-season talk, but when we win and the first thing people come post is stuff about O, it's not a good look. Same could be said when we lose. But, I understand why people question O, it's because of his past. And, if you look at the hire objectively, there was plenty of reason to be skeptical.

However, when we kick off, we should all be worried about supporting this team. Not hoping that something goes right or wrong, just to prove a point.

It certainly is nice and makes it a whole lot more to drop in to check the board. Here's to a continuing uptick in the program towards being elite once again.

I think you saw people wanting a better offensive system. More passing to set up the run and more run to set up the pass.

People wanted to see more play like at WV when ODB was all alone for that 48 yard TD or whatever it was. There were lots of opportunity for that type of play. I know I complained but it was more or less wanting to see our potential bc we had much more in that offense. The defense was so good that the offense could have taken way more chances and would've been fine.

Defense and STs was Elite. I think if Steve E was the OC back then we probably beat bama and anyone else. That defense was freakn top notch.

There was also a contingent that hated the coach more than they liked the football team. My thinking has always been that whoever the coach is they are the coach of my team and I will be behind him until he is no longer the coach of my team.

As for the OP just stick around for the next time LSU loses whenever that is. They will be back. The extremes on both ends disappear when they are proved wrong until it looks like they are right again.
