I'll bite my tongue now and get back to you in January

And Marcus Randall was the fricking qb on that team. Russell and Flynn were very young. At the most important position, you had the youngest talent.
Russell had just as much time in the system that year as Harris had last year. Both second year players. Same w Jennings in 14.
I feel like people don't realize this. Experience is huge, and we should have it this year. Combine that with aranda and I think we see a much better team this fall

You always have the potential "most talented team in history" going into the preseason, if you recruit decently, and have a solid core returning from the previous season.
We won't know if this team is, or not, until they get on the field. But it's great to think it could be, because that means the program is doing well!

2003 seasons was pretty stout.considering how many stud NFL guys came out.

Funny is people claim Les sucks because he has the most talented team. Well according to the recruiting rankings, he's never had the most talented team.

2004 was loaded, yet Jimbo and Saban couldn't settle on a qb and the offense stunk at times because of it.

How would we know till they play a few years?

Hard to say, certainly gets easier to say 5 years down the road once the incoming freshmen lose their college eligibility.

In terms of overall talent and depth, yes, the most talented team ever.
