Ole Miss is very deep at receiver. They have a stud slot wr in Cayden Lee who gave us issues last year in Death Valley. Harrison Wallace seems like has been a homerun transfer addition for them he’s been a downfield deep threat as he’s averaging 21 YPC. With the way kiffin likes spreading defenses out it wouldn’t shock me if we see a lot of Pickett and Delane on the outside with woodland manning the slot.

yes, and let's blitz it up their arse so whoever is starting QB is throwing off balance the whole game.

would love another 3+ INT game

We’ll probably see that and some two corner/3 safety looks. Spears gives us a third good DB at safety.

This game will tell us how good our Defense really is. They will be challenged in every area. Mobile QB. Good receivers. Etc.

Looking forward to see how this defense measures up against a lane kiffin offense on the road. Will be the ultimate test. This is a massive statement opportunity for the bayou bandits

Are you implying we have not seen this yet? Because that is insanely inaccurate

This is going to be our first real test for a mobile QB against our improved D. Hoping we can minimize the QB run damage, which seemed like the approach vs Clemson. Should be a pretty good chess match...

Watched OM-Tulane highlights lastnight.

Ole Miss QB Chambliss loves to “float” his passes. We should get some INTs on him.

Also their OL has been pretty poor. We should be able to dominate that front

I think in third and long situations we obviously will but I think Baker likes what he can do with a hybrid 4-3 in early downs. If we have problems stopping the pass or Ole Miss abandons the run and goes to a more pass heavy attack then we likely will see 5-6 DBs on the field but Baker really likes having our base D look out there.

Maybe will Reliford out he transitions to a 3-3-5 look to allow Perk to be that standing linebacker on the edge and get Haulcy to play more in the box with those 3 on the back end taking away the receivers. There are so many different things that we can do with the players we have to I will be curious to see how we lineup defensively Saturday but I do know he loves the 4-3 hybrid look we employ on early downs.
