Kinda wish this was a Thursday night game instead of Tuesday night.
In the spirit of this thread, State is my third fav school to pull for, so I hope they pull it out tonight.

I like USC for some reason, I don't neccessarily "pull" for them but I always watch them when they are on...

I pull for Virginia bc my wife is an alum.
For some strange reason, I used to always pull for Auburn. But after the 2006 theft and then Chaz Ramsey, no more.
I pull for Nebraska bc Pelini.
I always liked Texas for no real reason.
I root for whomever playing Bama.

first of all---
i pull for any team playing:
alabama
texas
florida
usc
frick all of those schools.
then, i usually pull for
nebraska (i like pelini)
pitt (for getting us into the 07 NC)
arkansas (parents went there)
OU (occasionally)
ANY NON BCS THAT COULD CHALLENGE TEX/BAMA/FLA FOR A BCS TITLE (this year it happened to be Boise St)
Oregon (i think nike is cool)
TCU (cool unis)
ULL (current town college team, if they do well, it helps the economy, plus LSU needs a legit instate rival these days.)
Tulane (they suck at everything though)
in basketball, it varies greatly. i usually like the teams that dont have big football programs, i.e. Georgetown, Nova, Marquette, etc.
i like anyone who plays duke.
that about sums up my allegiances.

dude, it is so hyper competitive these days, that there will RARELY be a situation when one of those teams wins that will help our cause.
infact, the only way a win by one of those teams would likely help us to set up a bigger game between them and us.
IN NO WAY DID ALABAMA WINNING THE NC HELP US. frick the sec bullshite. by the way, in case you didnt know, bama/tex/fla/and maybe USC all have more elite football programs than we do currently. so for that reason, i hope they lose every game.

Actually Alabama winning the NC makes the sec lots of money, in case you didn't know LSU is in the sec, and if we beat bama or Florida in conference play EVERY win they get after us helps us actually

UCLA....always liked them and LSU never plays them, plus they hate USC too.

TCU since my sister graduated from there.
I'll tune in to watch UCLA, too. I don't pull for them wholeheartedly, but I like their unis and my extended family living in LA hates USC, so it feels justified.
But geaux tigers, no doubt.
