If Tre Morgan could play SS, I don't see why Jake Brown couldn't play 3B.

Maybe try Bear in center field.

Trolling for most down votes ever I see?

The single upvote was either OP or a troll

Craig Nettles played a pretty damn good third base for the Yankees back in the day, as a left hander

Wrong. Bats: Left Throws: Right

Never sacrifice defense at SS if you can help it. Milam can actually be clutch unlike other people that get called clutch without the data to back it up.

Better offense, yet probably giving up an error per 15 innings at SS.
Lefty thirdabaseman aside, you essentially traded Milam's bat for Frey or Pearson with your lineup. Frey and Pearson are both struggling against SEC pitching, much like Milam.
Here's the 3 worst SEC Batting averages on the team.
.195 Milam
.220 Frey
.222 Pearson
Milam has more RBIs (16) than Frey (7) and Pearson (5) COMBINED when Frey and Pearson are usually batting ahead of Milam in the lineup.

This post was at least informative in one aspect. It made me look up SEC only games and I noticed Braswell is 4th on the team at .302 in conference play.
Dude is turning it on late just like last year. Actually hitting loads better than he did non-conf. I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't up there with Curiel as our most clutch hitter by the postseason.
