I've clearly articulated why it is a lazy comparison at best. Do I need to do it again?

It would be like saying:
"We need Etling to be a Rodgers/Alex Smith/Brett Favre type of QB."

Dude, Mauck, Flynn, and Mett have nothing in common really besides being white
So the fact those three are grouped together alone is hilarious
I've already explained this to him.
Mauck was a nice balance between Mett who could sling it but couldn't move and Flynn who could run well but was mediocre in the actual passing game and decision making.
Jefferson was a better QB in 2009 than Flynn was in 2007, as blasphemous as it may sound considering how he looked in 2010.

Because Etling looks no better than Harris.

I'm wrong for thinking the better QB is better and should play?
well I've never argued otherwise concerning this
but you are wrong about Etling being "miles better"

As long as it is not Harris, I'm open for anyone.

Sure Mr. Right Wing nut living in a PC world. Isn't it terrible there is pressure to respect others? Can't just call them ni$$&rs, ch&$ks, etc. any more in public. Or treat them like you could in the past.
Want to know a persons true character? Check their postings on the political board. They reveal their true nature there. And you sir would have us believe race is not an issue for you? And please explain what you mean when you say white people are tired and will do something soon? A Lynch mob like before the politically correct days? Or do you have something bigger like genocide in mind?

Grow up. Want to know a person's character? Know them in real life day to day.
Get off the computer.

Harris stretched the field last year. We were 38th in YPA (7.8 yds) and 7th in yards per completion (14.6).
That's because Harris throws deep. It's about all he can do, drop back and heave it. Still, the defense stuffed the box. No one respected or respects the passing game.
Harris is a lost cause.

What the frick?

Yeah that escalated quickly.

I was just asking him to clarify what he thought a "Mauck/Flynn/Mett" type of QB was supposed to be.

This shite is tiresome if we're going to just throw out grossly inaccurate hyperbole. The same with the passes "10 yards over the WR's head". Harris is inaccurate at times. Let's keep it to the facts.

Or
A Moon/Vick/Jamarcus type of QB

That is actually a damn good comparison - albeit on a different level - for Mauck/Flynn/Mett. Nicely done. We could also use more Luck/Russell Wilson/Manning types of QBs, and I know what race Wilson is.

Reality Tiger, is that what stood out to you in my post? Actually, not surprising. I assumed his comrades would show up to support him. It is alway predictable that those with similar viewpoints will defend their positions. Ask an honest person if, for many, the race of the QB is important, they would admit yes. Ask a racist and their answer is you are a race baiter, as if that is somehow worst than being a racist.

Don't forget Randall Cunningham

Ok dude, Mett was clearly the outlier. 6'5 gunslinger, awful pocket awareness, compares better to Jamarcus.
Flynn and Mauck were eerily similar in size, skills, and stats. To say Etling compares well to these guys is fair. Granted the small sample size.

Check out his posts on the political board Roger and maybe you will get my drift. Of course he may have been conversing with you there. At any rate it was disingenuous for him to claim race of the QB doesn't matter to him. When he is threatening the retaliation of whites against blacks and cheering the death of blacks.
