It hasn't been an amateur sport for a long, long time.....we like to kid ourselves with the thought that cheating doesn't happen at every school, but it does, even at LSU.

Agree.....college sports are big buisness...follow the money and all the tv contracts and it explains it all. We spend more money on college sports and facilities than we do for academics.

It all suck I actually think Miles would be a great head coach in the era of Bo and Woody but not now.
Its only amateur sport for the athletes not anything else and this is why I want a playoff system. It will level the playing field somewhat.

Is taking away Peterson's interception fair? Is spotting the football a yard short after picking up the first down, fair? Are face masks committed by Bama players fair?

It's fair in the sense that he's at a rival school. LSU fans hate him because he left here and eventually ended up coaching at bama. The media doesn't like him because of the whole "I'm not leaving the Dolphins," then a week later, "Screw that, yes I am leaving the Dolphins to follow the money."

It's like a woman scorned.....most folks hate saban cause he ain't here anymore (but wish he was)!
I agree with a previous post --> Saban is the best coach in college football. We have to somehow find a way to beat him.

I thank him for making LSU football relevant again! I wish he was still here, but unfortunately he is not, so we will just deal with average seasons again for the next 50 yrs!

Yes he did good at LSU. But must not have cared for us that much to take a jod for another team in the same conference less in the same division.

The guy is unbelievable. I really don't see how LSU fans just can't admit that sometimes. He comes to work, does a job, gets results. His teams play with an attitude most coaches couldn't get out of their team. Wish he was still here.

I loved when Saban was at LSU. I dont hate him I hate that he does not care for us to not take the jod at bama. There had to be other big schools that wanted him. I would not have cared that much if he had gone to a school like SC or Tennessee. But he wanted to get back at LSU for not offering him the job when he came back to college football.

I don't hate him for coaching bama, that is what was available. I hate him for showing no class by:
A. Leaving and the letting people know he has quit.
B. Letting his coaches know by sending them a freaking email!!!
That is about as classless as they come!
