I’ll always be skeptical of “in the bag” LSU coaching hires forever now. But this was really specific.
Also said Manieri is burnt out (well no shite), wants out, but doesn’t want to lose the income yet and doesn’t want to go out “fired”. Cause he was going any kinda way. So the TAF deal is a way to fix all that

As good as anybody else’s. Comes from a close friend of Bertman who’s a big baseball supporter. He didn’t say where he’s getting it from but his sources don’t get much closer. Probably one of the big wig TAF guys
He didn’t say “done”. He just said the specifics of the contract. I took that as “well, shite. If they got dollar figures worked out then it’s real” AS OF TODAY. Now we know how LSU coaching searches go so I’d put my money him not being the one lol

that's not the same. lsu is the premier baseball program in the country. omaha every 3-4 years won't cut it.
