Sometimes last year and this year, Denbrock couldnt call a play inside the 5 yard line with 4 chances to score to save his life. BYE.

JD5 would have made any coordinator look good. Personally im surprised ND took the bait. Hey ND, JD5 aint coming to South Bend no.

9 million ? Well we all have seen worse i guess. See *Jimbo

BK needs a young guy at OC. Out with the old and in with the new.

Stupid thread, BUT Denbrock’s 4th and short play calling almost made have a fricking stroke.

4th and short, let’s line up 5 yards off the ball in shotgun and hand off to our back. Make him run 6 yards instead of sneaking it for 1.

Love the rant! When we have a great qb, you OC’s suck…… only time we’ve ever had a good OC was when we had a trash qb. Or maybe. According to the rant, we’ve never had a good OC!

Meh, Denbrock is a good not great OC. Obviously Jayden and the receivers made him look really good this season, but ND will be disappointed if they think they're getting some elite play caller. 9 million seems crazy based on Denbrock's history.

He’s good, JD5 bailed him out dozens of times. U could say the same about plenty of coaches though u have to have the players executing at a high level. Denbrock did have some WTF moments. The late game series against the Aggies when he called 3 straight running plays comes to mind after the defense finally got a stop. If it wasn’t for a boneheaded throw by the Aggies LSU may have lost the game.

The Rant 1 week ago:

Denbrock is elite. No way he'd ever take a step down at ND where he can't get LSU talent.

The Rant now:

Never wanted him anyway and is a terrible OC without JD.

. People keep throwing this number out there like it’s some huge number. It’s not $9MM a year, it’s over 5 years ($1.8MM a year). If he coached for us in 2024 he would be making $1.5MM. Thats only a $300k difference.
