And a backup QB starting the game for UGA.....

Agree the brakes should be pumped. They beat a first time starter at QB, and they are now in the semi-final to face the top four where historically they have shite the bed. This team does look better than Kelly's versions, but we'll see when they line up against Penn State. I do think that is a good match up for them as opposed to the tOSU.

Notre Dame didn't have a single sustained drive that went over 50 yards.
The short fields (due to their defense credit there), Kirby being stupidly aggressive at the end of the half leading to a turnover, and the kickoff return were the difference.
Notre Dame wanted to let UGA back into it with their penalties but UGA just kept giving it back to them. Weird game flow.

Doesn’t matter about stats - experience and leadership moron. Playbook was probably cut in 1/2. Start your first game in a do or die playoff game. Nevermind, you are too dumb to understand.

LSBoosie is Temu Lester Earl
He enjoys being a board contrarian

Tell the guy saying that it wasn't an impressive win because ND only had 90 yards passing that stats don't matter. If Carson Beck were to go out there and throw 3 interceptions it would matter. You are just making shite up saying the playbook was probably cut in half.

How many top 10 wins did Kelly have his entire tenure at ND?
Freeman just got 2 in a row
Freeman just got 2 in a row

You want stats? Ok - Beck in the last 2 years completed 69% of passes for 7,426 yards with 52 TD’s and 18 ints. I’m sure Georgia didn’t miss him at all. LOL Try letting Brennan replace Borrow in 2019 - LMAO Note: he was 8th in QBR in nation - LOL

If you think me and Lester Earl are on the same page you don't keep up much. Lester is a pretty big Brian Kelly defender.
I'm not even saying that Freeman is some great head coach. I have no clue how good he is. LSU underachieved this year and that's what I care about.

Kelly lost by 28, 27 and 17 and was never in any of those 3 games. After each, observers pointed to his easy schedules and concluded he really didn't belong in those games.
He also played 3 great teams in those games. If he had the luxury of playing teams like Indiana followed by a backup quarterback then he might have had better luck.

My only point is that people acting like Georgia easily wins this game with Carson Beck is simply not a good argument. Beck has been extremely inconsistent this year and Stockton didn't really play that bad. I thought Stockton was going to play much worse than he did.

Without a doubt they're better. We'd be better with Freeman, stupid argument look at both their bodies of work! I live in New Orleans and talked to a million ND fans this week...more than half of them thanked me for LSU taking him.

They lost to Northern Illionois, and played UGA with a backup QB.

Freeman took over a team that was 11-1 when he stepped in. He has done a fine job of maintaining the status quo but let’s not act like he has done anything else at this moment.
Kelly took over a bad cincy program and turned them around, leading them to an undefeated season. Then took over a mediocre Notre Dame program and turned them into a consistent winner with a trip to the title game and 2 semi final appearances. Then went to LSU after Orgeron imploded. Not exactly an apples to apples comparison.

Idk if they win or not but Vegas has the game close to even bc Beck was out. SEC Champ vs Independent. Strength of schedule #1 vs #78. No way the line should have be even other than Beck was out.

We played and beat USC and A&M, so there's that
Posted on 1/3/25 at 9:22 am to LikeMike02
Nope, Notre Dame still get a cakewalk schedule and they beat a bad Georgia team.
Keep that same energy when they meet Texas/Ohio State.

You’re arguing with a group of certified idiots. Now the backup QB mantra has started. As if the game doesn’t count. Nevermind ND was also playing a significant number of backups. Frankly if Beck had played it wouldn’t have been any different. He’s not much better. Sour grapes from a group that overpaid for a mid coach at best.

Not Georgia team of old & starting a back up QB. Different era- NIL, more opt outs, transfers etc…
Ga doesn’t have the depth of their old powerhouse teams thanks to the NIL. I figured ND would win that game
