His junior year hilights look pretty impressive. Does he have a shot at the starting job this year?

He's a legit prospect, no doubt about that. Projecting high school QB's to their college career is a dubious endeavor however.

In 2017? Highly doubtful with him still rehabbing his ACL and the natural learning curve at QB. Beyond that? Definitely.

Maybe in 2018, but why would any QB, with multiple offers, commit to a school he thought he would never have the opportunity to start at?

Narcisse is about as legit as it gets. He looks like a damn defensive end right now. Hes gotta be approaching 235. He will probably get down to about 220 though. He is incredibly light on his feet for his size and has a rocket arm. Accuracy needs to be sharpened up a tad but for a college qb he could be the next Perriloux without the headache.

Exactly, if healthy he's a game changer.

It's weird. I haven't focused on him much bc I like Brennan so much. Unfortunately qb is one of few positions you can only start one person. Yet at same time I hope maybe one of them pans out lol

A guy I work with has seen him play several times and says he was clearly the best athlete on the field but his passing skills are suspect and will need considerable sharpening in terms of accuracy and timing.

ruh roo. the last thing we need is a qb that can't hit the broad side of the barn

If he had half a brain he could have been the GOAT college QB

The kid is an incredible athlete, and is very big and fast as a QB. If he can sharpen his mechanics and accuracy, he can be very legit.

He seems quite legit but the first few minutes of the highlights had some extremely suspect tackling attempts by the other teams.

Looks like a terrific athlete, but a QB highlight reel with very few passes is suspect.

If this was the mid seventies and our coach was Bud Wilkinson I would be much more excited that we signed him.

The guy I work with played some backup QB in high school. He basically said it seemed like the issues were things that could be worked out but it's always late in the game by the time they get to college, particularly if a guy has to take the starting job.

Basically delivery style footwork issues that tend to impact a lot of "dual threat" QBs that are mostly running backs with moderate passing skills. He did say he had good arm strength, though.

Agree. If he can't pass consistently, he's not going to be worth much to us. Arm strength is meaningless without accuracy. The knee injuries are also a big concern.

Let's just say I'm glad Brennan signed. He's a million times the passer, and he's not exactly a statue when it comes to running.

Scott is able to do both very well. If his height doesn't stop him, he could really be good.

That will take more than a tad sharpening up from what I've heard. My recollection and from talking to a gentleman who coached Perriloux in high school I believe he was an excellent passer coming out of high school. In high school he had 12,705 yards of offense (9,024 passing; 3,680 rushing). Much more of a passer than a runner.

Narcisse was 7777 yards of offense (5433 passing; 2344 rushing). Though Perrilloux likely played in 22 more games (based on 13 per year)
