I don't need to show it. You do so yourself by bringing him into pretty much every discussion on this board. You are the one obsessed with him. Liked $aban while he was here but now his sleeping with the enemy.
Did I say myself that I was lowering my goals? Nope! You have to be smarter than that. Sure every team aspires to win the national championship. But don't you think these teams set goals? You know like win the SEC west, win the SEC championship, then win the national championship. It's dumb SOB's like you that give LSU fans a bad rap! So, you see bro, I'm not the one obsessed with $aban much less with bashing coaches at every turn. You are the one that goes out of your way to do so.
What would you say about Miles if he won the national championship next football season?
You're the same kind of people that'll complain because we gave up to many first downs in a 50-0 rout of any team. The same kind of person that will sit around and boast about how, even though we won 200-0, we should have run or passed the ball more, and there is NO WAY you would have allowed the opposing team to cross their own 20 yard line! You know the kind of people I'm talking about don't you? If not, just go look in the mirror right next to your little autographed poster of you holding lil' Prick $abans jockstrap!

I'll take Dooley & Viator over Miles right now

Honestly my opinion of miles would not change if we won every game next year and won the nc. I would truly believe we won mostly on talent. You do not make the mistakes he makes and not take full control of your team and consider yourself the 2nd best coach in the sec. But to answer the question, no he isn't the 2nd best coach in the sec IMHO

Miles is not stiffing another SEC title while he is the coach at LSU

Nor does buying the best talent. My bad...we're supposed to win every game 156-0.

Against some of the talent that goes into most high schools Curtis should.

The SEC came about in the 30ies and since the beginning Bama has 20+ titles, Vols 13, Ga. 12, and LSU 10.
If you can only be happy or LSU can only be seen by you as being successful when they win the SEC, then you are going to be unhappy bout 80% of the time as are just bout every other set of SEC fans.
If you can't be happy with 3rd in the SEC, 13th in the nation, and playing football on New Years Day...so be it. Be as unhappy as you want, but I choose to enjoy our success and hope for more.

Is Miles even the 2nd best coach in his own house?

with Meyers stepping down, does that make Miles the 2nd best coach in the SEC?
He could be the only SEC coach with a BCS ring.
Winning by attrition: It's how Kool Aid Drinkers rationalize.

With Meyer out, even with the many talented HCs in the SEC, it now once again opens the question..
If Miles would've been offered and accepted the Michigan job..
With the Sabanistas & Richard Gill politicking for Saban's possible return, if the door had come open..
Is LSU left to wonder what could've been? In that not only having the best in the land, but also dealing Bama yet another brutal coaching blow in the last decade, in stealing their HC.
As not only would it have once again(it appears), a Florida HC's departure is gonna create an oppurtunity for Saban to take charge of a short-term void..
With Meyer leaving UF this time instead of SOS formerly..Miles playing the role of Fulmer's disrespected BCS title winning and high win percentage HC, that currently appears pegged as perennial silver medalist in his division to "the great one"(Saban instead of SOS as the antagonist)..Richt still Richt in being hyped but never quite over-the-hump..Nutt replacing Cut as Old Myth's latest 8-4/9-3 messiah..Kiffin or Petrino as the new Tubby in the league..etc..
The SEC & BCS titles of 2007/2008 wouldn't have happened for LSU, if a coaching change had happened in late 2007, thus LSU fans can always feel good about it happening the way it played out.
Yet, that little window of time and possibilities of storylines, may well affect SEC ownership, and the fates of Bama and LSU..and possibly even Fla, etc..for years to come?
Did LSU miss an oppurtunity to play for the steal on Bama..and regain the SEC's best HC?
Damn it, Carr and Martin and RichRod and Moore and UMassJoe and NASAcrony and 5X Champ HC posing as AD.
I think there was a small chance then, but that ship's sailed forever. Just gonna have to find a way to beat the guy here forth.

Arguments were made becaus we are now behnd two teams we play evey year, bama and uf, next year lks like we have a bette chance at winnng those than we did the previous 2 yrs. Rt now, i would rather les than 10 other head coaches in the sec. Have to edit 9 until we fnd out the new UF coach. I recall a point when people hought fulmer was a better head coach... Only coach in the east now tha can come close to miles spurrier, and no i would not take cmr over clm.
