sounds to me that some of the team leaders questioned him about "disrespecting" players on nationwide TV. Therefore, he's back down some.

Overlooking the typos and the bad grammar I'll respond. What info do you have regarding team leaders questioning him?
Also, in most cases Miles is very thoughtful about responding to these types of occasions. I have seen more than once where Miles asks a player "what happened?".
