He's very matter of fact and pretty transparent. Trumpian in a way. It's a good way to be but it obviously attracts a lot of hate.

The same "mercenary" label they slap on Kiffin used to be slapped on Saban too back in the day. Until he started wrecking shite and decided to stay put.

I think he set expectations and then met them. I don’t recall players getting in trouble and they’re disciplined on the field. It’s incredible what he’s accomplished in less than a year.
