He could have gone against UAB so unless something happened in practice, yes

The bigger question is what percent he will be at and how many carries will he be able to handle?

I’d look for a lot more Noah Cain, especially after how well he ran last week.

May seem like a small thing but when Kelly announced Davis jr. would not play anymore, I assumed that meant they feel good about Williams. I know Davis hasn't played there but a few snaps but if Williams was a question mark, I wouldn't think they would go into this game with just Cain/Emery as the two backs. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how much run they can give Emery because of his fumbling issues.

That’s a good point.

They will rotate all three backs, so Emery had better come ready to hold the damn ball. I would bet Daniels runs it a lot. I also wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a few jet sweeps sprinkled in to spread the carries around a bit more.

They will burn Davis’s RS if they have to. I think BK feels confident we can get it done with Williams and Cain.

It looked like an ankle sprain when he went out at Arkansas. Hopefully not a high ankle sprain.

He will still have a big role especially with Goodwin out. Saturday wasn’t his night, but we will need him in the rotation.

No, they won’t. Kelly made that abundantly clear. He said Davis did right by them by switching in an emergency, and they were going to reciprocate and do right by him by not burning a year of eligibility. Plus, he doesn’t know the offense. He can’t really provide much in a close game due to that. I doubt he or any of the other redshirts travel.

I heard the press conference Monday, and my take away was Williams seems more hurt than we were lead to believe. I think he’ll dress, but they are gonna try to get away with holding him out another week if possible. Probably get a heavy dose of the passing game, and see if Cain, Emery, and Daniels can handle the rushing. Maybe get Kayshon or Malik a carry or 2 on some sweeps. Or utilize the short WR screen as an extension of the running game.

I just really think we need Josh Williams as healthy as possible for Georgia, and I think the game plan against A&M will be one in which we can get away without him. Hell, we may just hand it to Cain 30 times for 4 yards a pop and just make their arse quit. They want to so bad, just got to give them a reason to early.
