Really hope he makes the team and plays. Would make Miles look like shite for not playing him in the NC game.

That's some really shitty reasoning for wanting a former tiger to succeed in the nfl.

I agree. That's a crappy reason to want him to succeed.

I want him to succeed as best he can cause I like him and think he deserves it.

AND.....separate and unrelated to that and as no motivation for wanting him to do well.

I also think it's pretty obvious that if JL freaking makes the Chargers, it emphasizes how fricking catastrophic Miles was with his QBs in the last few years.

Did he run the short side option in the drive-thru?

I would say it is more an indictment of Crowton's failure.

I don't think Miles is key in QB development.

I also don't think Miles or Saban are shitty talent evaluators at the QB position, because they both played JR over Flynn.

Crowton has a history of shitty personnel choices. My personal favorite was pulling Charles Scott in the 07 UK game.

Considering he probably couldn't start and several HS teams in Louisiana NOW and AFTER his time at LSU, I'd say one can only hope that he had a solid plan B.

damn how did this guy win two 5A state titles????

Yes, it is. I am pulling for JLee cause I love the kid and his attitude, and I feel like he deserves it. However, I am sure everyone that had a problem with Miles QB management last year is pulling for this to happen as justification that we always knew what was better for the team than Les in that regard.

are there any courses in compassion? anyone here that your are forgiven only n relation to how you forgive others.
i do have compassion for the haters.
hate is just a reflection of self worth. hate comes from a hater.
how do we make it clear? posts are an easy psychological profile.

Was that the fault of Crowton, Miles, or Larry Porter?
Never playing Keiland or Holiday has to be discussed if we're talking about improper use of the backfield in 2007-2009.

Never? Never ever?

It sux when a coach doesn't play a fan's favorite enough. It really really sux when the coach does that and the team wins anyway.

It seems hyperbole is lost on some.

Well, I don't remember us winning a lot in 2008 and 2009. We had decent teams but it would've benefited all the RBs if they split the carries a little just to help them make it through the season intact. I like Keiland a lot. I liked Scott and Holiday a lot. We divide the carries among the RBs now. We should've done that in 2007-2009, when our backfield was arguably just as talented.

Crowton instituted "role-based" rb rotations.

He was the guy that was making that call.

You know I think I remember CBS displaying a chart with the "roles" during the 2007 Ole Miss game. Sort of adds credence to the claim that Crowton was predictable.
