Welter is the QB of a defense that often times finds itself confused as hell.

Unfortunately hatcher could be kinda hidden with other talent around him and his position but welter is front and center with his position. The other team is averaging 8 yds a carry and it doesn't matter who is running the ball fans are gonna notice especially our fans who are not used to watching other teams push us around. Welter is not the answer.

Let me ask you a better question........ Preseason,, which of the three players was more expected of.........Welter, barrow, or loston?
All three have been pretty equally unimpressive yet one of the three receives twice the hate the other two do...... To make matters better the one getting hated on the most, the least was expected.
The logic you fricking retards carry is mind blowing at times.
I could replace loston and barrow with a number of other players, I just chose to mention two preseason most popular.
It's a collective group effort that's weighing down our defense.... Not one player.
The sooner you people accept that, better off you'll be.

Dude, come on. I'm white and Welter is average at best. He had one solo tackle against UGA. For a MLB, that's terrible.
We might not have anyone better at the moment, but that doesn't mean he isn't a huge step down from Minter and questionable as a SEC starter.

Everyone knew Welter sucked preseason, so obviously Loston and Barrow were expected to lead the defense.

It's not a difficult question... Nobody wants to answer it.
We gave up 400 yards passing vs uga and numerous deep balls this entire season....that's on our secondary.... Not dj welter.

On running plays, the Center is handing off a DT and getting to the MLB. Now, the RB is 5 yards past the LOS before he's even touched. That kinda explains why UGA was averaging 10 yards per carry in the first half.
There are no sacks, no TFLs, few PBUs.
And the DT was the only one to get a pick. A DT.
If teams can run the ball, and our DBs can't stop the passing game. Mett's gonna have to be all-world every game to give us a shot.
