Agree, but Miles' teams play way down to much inferior opponents. Win yes, look like dog shite doing it, yes.

Not every team is consistently like that.

Nah.

It's not like he could have done anything next year to improve his stock.

Should have stayed? He should have left a year earlier if we're looking at things objectively.

Montgomery proved to be pretty slow, stiff and is pretty one dimensional.. Plays the run ok, but not great, not a good fit in a 3-4, he is fairly limited.

That and his comments probably caused the free fall.

He should have kept his mouth shut and been at worst a 2nd round pick.
If they thought Sam was good enough, they would take him regardless of running his mouth and taking off plays. Randy Moss did far worse than Sam, and teams still wanted him for a while.

For the record, there was a few other times in separate years where someone leaked a pic of Moffitts list on the window. Yea it's not a good thing, but I think it's also a motivational thing he does from what I hear.

t's a big story when your own coach does that. It wasn't meant to get out and did. No doubt it hurt him some then his comments added fuel to it.

It's not meant to be take seriously man. It wasn't meant for the public to see because, well some people might think it actually means something.

However, if you think a picture like that causes NFL GM's and coaches, who make a lot of money and are one bad draft away from being fired, I really don't know what to tell you.

And still is a waste pick in the 3rd. He is gonna make bank, but not worth it. Good for him.

I didn't see him going in the third. I was wrong, probably pull my name out of all the NFL GM jobs I'm in the running for...

Mike Mayock said Montgomery was so bad in his interviews that many teams took him off their boards completely. It even had him push him to a 6th round projection, despite having 2nd round talent.

i know a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy. i feel pretty confident that he talked himself into this low draft position in the team interviews more than anything else. the "taking plays off" was a media manufactured tempest in a teapot.

he also owes mingo $5k.

People assume that you an extra year = automatic improvement. See Matt Barkley. And many others.

You won't get taller, bigger, or faster at this point.
