Is it possible to lower the field at Tiger Stadium to improve the sight lines?

Has this ever been considered?

The field is turtle backed to aid with drainage..
should we ever go to field turf, then we would probably have a more level field.

Probably possible, but would think stormwater management system design would be a challenge.

Is it possible? ... sure, you could always put in pumps if necessary. Are you possibly looking at a giant cluster frick... yeah

So close to the river you would think that it would be a freaking nightmare to come down a few feet too once they started digging.

First ten rows are not good seats. Can't see over players or not much of a view unless they are in front of u.

My niece and her husband sit on the first row near the LSU tunnel in the NEZ..
I have sat there before and you have a hard time seeing the SEZ plays..
and the turtle back hump in the middle of the field is very pronouced.

Not possible because of the proximity to the river.

I have no problem from my seats. If you don't like the front row, give them up. Someone will sit there and not bitch.

I saw a video a few days ago and when the stadium was built the field was actually a good bit lower than the first row if seats. I thought that was interesting.

Just bring in the cable lock guys and jack up the whole stadium a few feet

This...I hope the OP is not from South Louisiana because suggesting to lower anything in this area is just dumb. We can't even put graves underground.
