Cal, Coach K, Kansas’ coach are all 20+ years his senior and are seasoned cheaters. Having the politics of the MSM and NCAA behind their backs helps as well.

Lack of patience. Not necessarily a bad thing, just got too ambitious, and unwilling to delegate.

The bottom line is that these kinds of deals have to be done face to face at a neutral location with a pat down beforehand. Mafia 101 class.
