Is it just me or are we not getting much spring practice info?

Maybe it was just for BK to endear himself to the fanbase, but I feel like we got a lot more insight about what was going on last spring.

Yesterday was the first day to resume spring practice after a week off

Yeah but I agree that I know almost nothing about how the first week went. I admit I haven’t researched much beyond TD but last year it seems like we were showered in spring content and this year the only thing I know so far is that John Emery had academic issues.

For instance:
1) How are the QB reps being split? Are they being split at all?
2) who is playing where on the DL? Who is starting at nose? Are both Maason Smith and Wingo gonna start? Seems like they should. Who is starting at the Jack?
3) who is running with the ones in the secondary? Which new CBs look good? Does Welch look like he’s taken a step forward?
4) same with the LBers, who’s starting where? How are they using Perkins?
Tons of questions that last year had speculation/answers and this year we know almost nothing about.
I get it, we have a team that could potentially compete for a Natty so they are keeping it much quieter than last year but it sucks as a fan to not have much to talk about.

They practiced for 2 days then took 10 days off.

They’ve only had 3 practices. All with media only watching the first 20 minutes. Real information won’t come until later when they are there for full practices

Why would they be? Jayden Daniels is the starting QB for the LSU Tigers. There is 0% chance that anyone other than Daniels starts at any point this year, barring injury. The sooner everyone realizes this the better.

I get wanting a lot of concrete answers but spring practice(particularly the early part of spring practice) is designed for tinkering with not necessarily setting a depth chart in stone.

Last season there was a constant flow of information and videos from practice. Except the first day, I haven't heard or seen anything about practice. Just some occasional blather from the normal talking heads.
