Didn’t some Northwestern players try to unionize a decade or so ago? I think it failed but funny of all schools it was that one. Back in the Pat Fitzgerald golden era I think

Screen Actors Guild -- all paid the same? No. Only at the lowest level ("Scale").

I'm losing interest in college football much like I did for the Pros. I have my reasons why I will never watch a Pro Football Game again. And over the years I've seen myself losing; interest in watching college football as well. And I have my reasons. It's sad because I once loved both very much.

I’m good with it. College ate, football in particular, is gone forever. I simply don’t care anymore so it would fine by me to watch in completely destroyed. I’ll wait to enjoy the second iteration of college sports whatever that looks like.

Unionization is typically a response to the hiring authority having or perceived as having too much power in the employer/employee relationship. Thus collective bargaining/unions would be an evolution after some kind of broad NCAA wide contract/salary cap implementation.

Also, would it be ncaa wide?

That's exactly wide the NLRB blocked Northwestern's attempt, it would "create an unlevel playing field within the NCAA", since state run schools would just block any attempt to unionize.
