Yes the cowbells will make the stadium EXTREMELY loud

Sorry bud, but you can't bring your cowbells into our stadium. I'm sure that y'all will sneak some in, but I hope that LSU confiscates a ton of them.

Maybe for the first half but people will be running for the exit at half regardless of the score

Wrong. Damn son, why don't you post some trendy line more often? There is no mass exodus on close SEC games.

BULL frickING shite.

Mississippi State game...2 years ago. We lead 20-10 at halftime and they score the first TD of the 2nd half to cut it to 20-17. LOTS of people were gone at halftime.

Mississippi State game...4 years ago. We lead only 12-0 at halftime and again, State scores to make it 12-7. Again, LOTS of people had left at halftime.

Not a conference game, but a ranked W. Virginia team came here in 2010. We lead 17-14 in the 4th quarter...end up winning just 20-14. TONS of people had left by the 4th quarter.

The common thread? In all 3 games, the TV commentators talked about the fact that lots of people had left the game and were wondering why.

Ok if its such a stupid question then let's just discuss how loud its going to be.
Were the first 2 games louder than expected because of the expansion?

Sorry our people can be so rude... Yes, the endzone expansion contains the sound even more so with any amount of crazy cajuns in the stadium, and the defense amping up the sound, it acts like a megaphone. The sound is even more deafening than before. It will be CRAZY for an SEC game and we won't be able to hear the television commentators for the BAMA game.

especially when we are undefeated ....

No. There will be an abundance of breast feeding babies there so the crowd will only do golf claps in respect to the mothers. Duh

I was there. I couldn't believe how many people left early. The game was still very much in doubt at that time. I've said it before, but it's gotten to be that the game itself is just an afterthought for many of our "fans." They care more about socializing and getting drunk at their tailgates than they do about supporting the Tigers. Did you see the crowd at the USCe/UGA game last weekend? Even after a 2 hour rain delay the place was packed and full until the very end. Tiger Stadium used to be that way, but no longer.

I am right there with you. And I am not going to tell people what to like and what not to like, but I sure do long for the days of the "old" Tiger Stadium.

I am not optimistic about this weekend though. I hope I am wrong. But I think it will be a close game and I think a lot of people will have departed before the end.
