in theory, there "should" be enough talent, but our roster seems imbalanced and thin at certain positions.

The head coach is responsible for everything in the football program. Of course, a big part of it is recruiting and portal management to bring in the players.

And he's responsible for hiring the right staff to develop the players and run the right scheme, to fit the players' strengths.

So yes, the players may suck, but that's on the head coach, for the reasons above.

Oh, and he's getting paid $10 million per year, so it's more than fair to hold the head coach accountable.
