Only 6 of Alabama's 24 signed recruits are from the state of Alabama.

That is in line with their starting O and D. OF the 22 starters, 16 are out of state talents.

Go back and look at the key contributors to all of their NC teams. Very seldom it’s Alabama kids.

On the other hand if Saban had the same run at LSU it was be mostly Louisiana kids and he would probably have won 10 in a row.

That’s always been the case, he’s never signed many players from Crapabama
But rest assured, who he wants, he gets
I pray that this alignment that Kelly keeps taking about truly happens, cause until it does…it’s gonna be Groundhog Day every damn signing day.
Cause that’s the day he really kicks our a$$.

The top of the class in AL is good but it goes downhill pretty quick. I think 6 of the top 10 in AL are Bama bound this year. We have 4 of the top 10 in LA right now, with Matthews and Citizen left that could get us to 6...but Bama already got 3 of ours.

I think that Louisiana produces alot of football talent and it's just a matter if Saban picking guys for positions if need but also to weaken us through theft of potential resources and to keep a strong pipeline connected to the state. The LA players help him recruit as well.

Again, you’re not special. He does that to Georgia, Florida, and Texas too

Alabama is top 5 in NFL talent per capita. Just Bama has to compete with Auburn in their own state which LSU doesn't have to do, LSU biggest threats are all outside of the state.

Even having to deal with Auburn some big Alabama HS prospects choose to go elsewhere just like any other state. JaMarcus Russell went to LSU, Jameis Winston went to FSU, etc.

Plus when you're Alabama you have pick of the litter from the nation. Sure they could pick more from Alabama if they wanted to but why do that if better prospects from out of state want to go there as well?

Saban knows the SEC west has always been through Auburn and LSU.

Anything he can do to insure he weakens those two teams and gains a competitive advantage he will do. No detail left uncovered.

Hell, even Mississippi is a good bit better per capita.

Usually inbreeding causes too many small runts and abnormalities in the litter.

Maybe it is and that is why their annual all-star football game is against Mississippi.
