Since most are saying LSU's problems are because we are young and inexperienced, we should definitely have a chance because looking at ALABAMA's depth charts they are showing 23 freshman on their offense and defense dated 10/06/2008.LSU only has 15.

I agree, Matt.

I'm hoping tht the Tigers don't beat themselves, and that perhaps we can pull a tough one out.....would be great to see....

While a "loss is a loss" on the scorecard, the whole nation will be watching, and if LSU can win or make a good showing, it will do alot toward keeping the team motivated to finish strongly both on the field and in recruiting....

on the negative side, if we don't bring our best next weekend, there is always a tendency for players and coaches to let the rest of the year slide, which could be harmful for future years.

As long as General Pick-Six doesn't show up, LSU has a great chance at beating Bama.

I give us a good chance to beat Bama. The defense will have to control Bama's running game and Lee has to quit throwing so many interceptions. Bama is getting stronger every year but they are not a super team, yet. They are due for a bad game.

No way do I want to give Saban the satisfaction, but if Lee can't get through at least 3 quarters without throwing a pic-6, the D-Line can't stop from getting pushed around AND put some pressure on the Q-back, if the D-Coordinators still won't blitz cause they ain't confident enough in the man-man coverage, if they can't get past these glaring weaknesses, they will lose, and lose big.

Just my two cents...

Hopefully, Lee will not pick a favorite reciever from among Bama's defensive backs. He is on the verge of breaking the record for most TD passes to an opposing team ever in Division I. He needs to stop.

It doesn't matter what Lee does. We are going to get some points whether he throws ints or not.

We have to get to the QB. If we can't get JPW's jersey dirty, he is going to pick us apart, just like Tebow and Stafford did. Stats to watch for the game: Sacks and QB Hurries on JPW. If we are up in the 12-14 range like we were against USC, we can win. If we don't touch him like we did against Florida and Georgia, we lose.

Objective observers might be, but not the fans on the rant.

Stop Alabama's run game is job 1. Alabama has talented WR's but they can be covered effectively if the threat of the run is minimal.

LSU must run the ball for 150 yards. Bama thrives on getting you in 3rd and long and making you pay. If we can get in 2nd and 3rd and short, we can make some plays.

Bama squeaks by Ole Miss and a terrible Kentucky team. Tulane keeps Bama's offense out the endzone. I'd say LSU has a helluva shot.

I remember when LSU did that.

If you put 8 in the box to stop the run that leaves man on man with Bamas wid-outs. We will see how long that last.
I think you have as good of players as Bama, just not as good of a team.
Luck to you

From the looks of things, I sure wouldn't bet the farm on it.

No, I would have stayed at LSU and continued being the highest paid coach in the country.

We have a chance just because we're going to show up. No chance if we don't. However, when we do show up, our chance of winning is about as good as hell freezing over. This team is good, not great...not even real good. Bama can afford several mistakes and still win. We can't. Bama will commit a few mistakes...unfortunately, so will we. And our mistakes will cost us. Period.

From reading the board this morning, there are at least 10 LSU posters, maybe more, who want Saban to win this game.

That's awful.

I hope we do win but I highly doubt it. I don't have confidence in our DCs, and believe the D will get shredded yet again.
