When I first read that LSU will be playing the hawkeyes in the outback bowl I was disappointed. But then, I took a peek at the Hawkeyes schedule this year and they beat some pretty good teams, along having 10 - pt. losses against two very tough teams in ohio state, and sparty. Although most of you are disappointed we are likely in for another LSU/Clemson repeat of last year minus the loss.

Will our interior defense be exposed?

Iowa? They sucked this year and almost got beat by a horrible Northwestern team. LSU will stomp a mud hole in their arse! Iowa, what a joke, I'd rather the Tigers play Nebraska or better yet Michigan or a real BIG team.

They are the type of team that can give us real problems.

The Iowa front 7 is going be very physical. Skill is an advantage but we now are depending on a Freshman. Our defense is going to get tested in the trenches. Potential to be a grind'em out slugfest.

But we won't get up for them and only win by 4.

This kind of logic is laughable.

This is a legitimate concern. I would love for us to play ball control but I have a feeling the defense might be on the field most of the game. It's Iowa leaning on us for 4 quarters that concerns me.

It really is. No doubt in my mind that this game will be competitive.

I saw a lot of this before we played Clemson last year. Usually when LSU is supposed to stomp a mudhole, they usually don't.
With a freshman QB with only one drive of his career so far, I don't think LSU will be stomping a mudhole in anyone's arse anytime soon.
